aRt K8

Transforming my hobby into a successful small business.
Key Skills: Entrepreneurship, business design & development, strategic partnerships, client relationships, social media marketing.

Overview:

aRt K8 is a small business I started that acts as a culmination of my passion for the arts, desire to make the world a more beautiful place, and my educational background in strategic design and business management.

I've always been inspired by the power of art and design to make the world a more beautiful place. I believe clothing that inspires confidence is one of the most powerful ways to do this. I started up cycling clothes out of my own closet as a hobby. This hobby eventually grew into starting a small business selling sustainably made one of a kind clothing and art pieces with an emphasis on authenticity and inclusivity. During the course, Marketing PR & Branding at Parsons, we were assigned with selecting a brand, evaluating its existing marketing strategy and brand positioning and planning a future product launch. I chose to evaluate my own brand, aRt K8, and was able to work closely with a team to receive feedback, collaborate and ideate. Take a look, to learn more in depth about aRt K8!
